Abstract: The creation of contemporary architectural space involves the realisation ofarchitectural design concepts by the architect’s construction logic, and the establishment of aconnection between the designer and user by evoking emotional resonance through narrative. This essay investigates how modern architectural spaces reflect on society, nature, culture, andtime and space, using the interpretation of traditional Chinese landscape painting. It examines the correlation between the spatial narrative in the architectural works of Wang Shu, a “literatiarchitect,” and traditional Chinese landscape painting. Additionally, it explores how the essence of “yi” and “jing” can be integrated into the creation paradigm of “guofeng”architecture.
