Review of the Study in the Modern History of Chinese Western Music Interaction Setting from Oversea Sinology Studies

Abstract:The Community of Chinese Music Culture, a brunch of oversea sinology studies was formed due to interactions between Chinese and Western musicians in modern China. There has been some attention focused on the academic studies addressing to the community yet rather on surface level. This article is a brief research on oversea sinology focusing on its necessity, academic foundation and academic structural on interactive history of Chinese and Western music in Modern China.
