Bashan Dance of Tujia:Its Inheritance and Digital Teaching Innovation

Abstract:This paper takes Tujia Bashan Dance as a case study. By examining and analyzing the present situation of Bashan Dance of Tujia ethnic people in Enshi District, it reflects on how this dance can be protected in the new era. Its focus is on both the brief history of the dance and the applicability of Motion Capture Technology and Virtual Reality Technology to the teaching of this folk dance, hoping that what it discusses will be of help to the study and inheritance of similar intangible cultural heritage of dances in China.
