Reconstruct the Image of Oriental Culture：Modern Chinese Art Exhibition in Berlin in 1934 and the Traveling Exhibitionin Europe

Abstract:Held in Berlin in 1934, Modern Chinese Art Exhibition is a milestone event in modern Chinese art history. It demonstrated the development level of Chinese modern art and promoted Chinese culture in Europe. Shortly after its debut, the exhibition traveled across the European continent, to nine cities in five countries. It not only Revitalized Chinese people's self-confidence in their own national culture, but also provided the European audience fresh insights into modern Chinese art and culture which, since then, became a trendsetter and important role on the worldstage.
